Don’t miss this first ever Dru holiday in Thailand! Join us and relax in one of the most beautiful tropical islands in the world.  Pamper your body, heart mind and soul with two weeks of sun, fun, Dru yoga and meditation, Thai massage, friendship and fabulous food.

You will be staying in a luxurious 4 star hotel in Karon on the beautiful tropical island of Phuket. There is so much to see and do for the active holiday maker or if you need a total break you can simply chill on the beach and swim in the warm sea. You are welcome to go out and explore on your own, or hang out with us all and enjoy making new friends.

Most days you will have morning and sunset yoga and meditation classes, and we highly recommend daily massages with the local Thai therapists which at £5 an hour who can refuse?  This will be a holiday of a lifetime where you can look forward to white tropical beaches, glorious sunshine, fabulous Thai cuisine and regular sessions of Dru Yoga, meditation and inspirational talks. Absolute heaven! This experience will suit anyone from total beginner to experienced yoga practitioner from the seasoned world traveler to those new to long haul adventures.

Our accommodation will be 500m to the beach in a fabulous hotel with beautiful twin bedded rooms, fully air conditioned, American breakfast, balcony and outdoor pool.

This holiday has everything.  You may like to avail of ‘made to measure’ clothes at unbelievable prices; shop until you drop at Jungceylon in nearby Patong.   Experience the local restaurants, cafes and international cuisine in the evenings whilst exploring and getting to know the gentle Thai culture where courtesy and friendliness are a way of life. Eating out is really inexpensive and hygiene standards are excellent. 

There is also plenty of time for sunbathing, swimming, resting, reading, exploring the island or joining us on one of the planned excursions.

Optional trips out include visiting beautiful Buddhist Temples, Phi Phi island made famous by the James Bond film, sea kayaking, snorkeling, elephant rides, and night shows including the world acclaimed Fantasea.   You set the pace, it is your holiday and you can do what ever you want.  Places limited so please book early.

What's included and what's not?

The cost of the holiday is £650 which includes a shared room in a luxurious twin B&B accommodation with American breakfast for 12 nights in Phuket.  (Depart UK Sat 6th Nov and arrive back home on Sat 20th).  It also includes all yoga, relaxation and meditation sessions. 

Not included: Flights to Phuket. 
(We can recommend our travel agent to help you book all your flights. Approx, £550 - £600 return from Heathrow.)  Airport transfers (approx £5 per head). Other meals and snacks etc.  All excursions have different prices and will be paid for at the time.   

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
Yes, although soft carpets are cheaply available to buy if you like.

How much money will I need?
You'll need some extra money to cover meals not included in the tour price, other sightseeing, shopping, souvenirs and optional extras.
Approximate costs:  light lunch and soft drinks £2, eve meal £3.  Bottled water £1/5L.

Average temperature day and night:

27-30°C, you will need sandals, shorts, tee shirts, skirts, sun tops, swim wear, long sleeve shirts for sun protection and sun hat.  Sarongs and all of the above can be bought very cheaply when you get there. Many shops sell all the usual sun creams, toiletries, batteries, mosquito repellant etc.
